The Friends of the McCormick County Library exists to support and strengthen our public library.
Since its founding in 1994, the Friends of the Library has provided volunteers to assist in the library, purchased needed furniture and equipment, helped children learn the joy of reading and sponsored programs and workshops for adults.
HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Volunteer to work at Books on Main where we sell our used books.

Help children learn to read by being a “Book Buddy” at the McCormick Elementary School.

Raise money for the library by participating in our bake sales.

Lend a hand in the planning and setup of our annual Author’s Night Program.
